Nadyа's first triathlon

My most exciting race was the one I didn't participate in! I still can't grasp that my girl was so brave to sign in to her first triathlon! We didn't know what to expect, and the real spark came only when I saw Nadia Stefanov be the second woman to get out of the water, just after the very experienced female leader. That was real excitement, but way too early to celebrate, considering that Nadya barely ever ran or cycled in her life. It helped a ton that she is a good swimmer, so she gained some gap between her and her chasers.
It gave me so much adrenaline watching this battle so closely. Often I hear that I've inspired people for sports and a healthy lifestyle, but now my girl inspired me. Triathlon is such a beautiful sport and I think it's about time for me to learn how to swim 😁
