It Is Well with My Soul | A Capella (in French Creole)

I was sitting down with some women in Monte Verde interviewing them in hopes of capturing their story to share with people when suddenly I heard singing coming from just outside. I lost focus on the video and looked out the door to see Mirtah singing "It Is Well" in her native tongue, Haitian Creole. She wasn't performing, she wasn't looking for attention, she was just singing out of pure joy. I was enraptured by her voice and the joy she felt in the song. We asked if we could capture her singing and she obliged. Please enjoy.
