Antarctica SANAE IV - Life on the Ice Continent as a Helicopter Pilot.

South African National Antarctic Expedition Take-over 2019/2020.
My experience of Antarctica as one of the helicopter pilots during our stay at SANAE IV base from Dec 2019 to Feb 2020.

During this take-over period the base receives maintenance, it gets restocked with supplies and the previous over-wintering team hands over the base to the new team which consist of 10 South Africans who will be calling this base home for the next 14 months.
