Look What We Found!

Sometimes, we just get lucky. This was one of those occasions. Transversing into a canyon, we stumbled upon this fantastic mining camp filled with goodies. There were about ten vintage cars left baking in the sun, along the side of a wash, almost like an abandoned car lot. Next was an old miners' cabin, with the remains of a chicken coop and animal corals. Higher up on the hill was a 1970s homestead filled with home-school books and a pile of clothes. Out-back, the mine entrance is now gated by the BLM. Who lived here, and why did they leave? The questions we ask ourselves always leave us scratching our heads, leaving the mystery unsolved.

Due to continuous vandalism, we are not giving out the name or location of this camp.
