○ Location was a 20 min drive away from Keswick, which didn't feel that long at all
○ The lodge was cleaned to perfection, it had everything you would need and the view was amazing
○ The restaurant/ pub on site was also lovely
○ Keswick is actually pronounced Kes-ick, which I discovered after a whole weekend of calling it Keswick
○ We went to the lake district and then onward to Gretna Green to watch my parents get married
