Your body uses 150 µg every day and your thyroid uses 130 of that 150. So you must get iodine in your diet, which means usually about 130 is sufficient if you’re pregnant or breast-feeding you might need a little bit more about 180 to 200 µg.

But before you take any supplements, you need to look at the sources of your iodine intake, which is food and your beauty products many beauty products have high amount amounts of iodine sometimes up to 2000 µg in a 15 mL dose so make sure you’re doing this inventory and try to keep your intake about 130 µg
