One of the challenges of the “new normal” is adjusting to online meetings.

There’s new technology involved. It’s harder to feel a personal connection. And because it’s video, suddenly you (and your home workspace) have to look and sound good on camera… without the help of a camera crew, set designer and director!

Unless you have a television broadcasting background, it can be just a little daunting.

But doing virtual meetings well is an important skill to have if you want to keep advancing in your career.

As a starting point, the key is to avoid the basic mistakes most people make. From there you can work your way up to become a virtual meeting expert!

I invited Esther Stanhope to share some tips on how to do virtual meetings well and the most common mistakes people make.
