On Mountain Rose Herbs Henna : Ingredients came from the "Wine Red" color as my "Mahogany" color is no longer sold. Ingredients will vary depending on the color you buy from this website.

On Nupur Henna - *Updated August 2021*
While it’s normal for henna to loosen curls, I get confused as to why the Nupur will still have such a strong loosening effect even with the addition of aloe, hibiscus, and alma listed in their “9 Herbs Henna Powder” product. Especially when I add my own alma, hibiscus, and/or aloe vera to Nupur, my curls will end up tighter than before. There could be a lot of reasons for this: for example, the ratio of henna to the other ingredients could be much higher than what I use, or the henna is just really strong. This effect is very odd to me which is why I no longer use Nupur. However many people have used Nupur for years without any adverse effects. Nonetheless, it’s important to do your own due diligence and research each brand on your own before purchasing henna from any brand.
