The Scinnovent Centre supports the development of policy frameworks enabling PPPs (SGCI)
Watch Maurice Bolo, Executive Director of the Scinnovent Centre, a collaborating technical agency in the Science Granting Councils initiative (SGCI). In this project, the Scinnovent Centre provided capacity building and policy development support to Councils, to better equip them to work with the private sector.
This project is an example of IDRC’s efforts to contribute to a strong enabling environment for the private sector engagement to advance development outcomes.
The project is funded under the Science Granting Councils Initiative in sub-Saharan Africa (SGCI), a multi-donor initiative funded by IDRC, the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), South Africa’s National Research Foundation, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation and the German Research Foundation.

Le Centre Scinnovent soutient l’élaboration de cadres de politiques facilitant les PPP (IOSRS)
Regardez Maurice Bolo, Directeur Exécutif du Centre Scinnovent, un organisme technique partenaire de l’Initiative des conseils subventionnaires de la recherche scientifique (ICSRS). Dans ce projet, le Centre Scinnovent a fourni un soutien au développement des capacités et à l’élaboration de politiques à des conseils subventionnaires de la recherche scientifique, en vue de mieux les outiller pour leur travail avec le secteur privé.
Ce projet est un exemple des efforts du CRDI à contribuer à un environnement favorable à la mobilisation du secteur privé pour l’atteinte de résultats de développement.
Le projet est financé dans le cadre de l’Initiative des conseils subventionnaires de la recherche scientifique (ICSRS) en Afrique subsaharienne, une initiative regroupant plusieurs bailleurs de fonds financée par le CRDI, le Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) du Royaume-Uni, l’Agence suédoise de coopération internationale au développement (Asdi), l’Agence norvégienne de coopération au développement (Norad), la National Research Foundation (NRF) d’Afrique du Sud, et la Fondation allemande pour la recherche (DFG).
