How To Disable Workout Auto Detection On Huawei Watch Fit 4 / Watch Fit 4 Pro

In this quick tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how to disable the workout auto detection on your Huawei Watch Fit 4 or Watch Fit 4 Pro.

Automatic workout detection can sometimes be a pain when it activates at the wrong time. Have full control over when your workouts start and stop.

How To Turn OFF Workout Auto Detection On Huawei Watch Fit 4 / Watch Fit 4 Pro:

Step 1: Press the crown or raise your wrist to activate the display. If your watch is locked, enter your PIN or pattern to unlock it.

Step 2: Swipe down from the top of the watch screen to open the quick settings panel, then tap on the Settings (gear icon). You can also press the crown to access the apps menu.

Step 3: Scroll through the settings options and find "Workout Settings". Here, look for "Auto-detect Workouts". It should be on by default.

Step 4: Tap on the "Auto-detect Workouts" option and toggle the switch to the Off position to disable the feature.

Step 6: Press the home or back button to return to the main watch face.

With auto detection turned off, your watch will no longer start tracking workouts automatically. You’ll need to manually select and start workout modes whenever you want to record exercise sessions.
