Drum Major Ian Esson leads Ballater & District Pipe Band as they play "Bonnie Lass o' Fyvie" and "Rowan Tree" on the march through the remote village of Braemar, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This was in July 2019 when different bands from Aberdeenshire and Perthshire play in the village during the summer to entertain visitors.

Ballater & District Pipe Band was formed in 1993, with the forerunner being the Ballater Branch Air Training Corps Pipe Band of the 1950s and 1960s. These were funded and supported by Lady McRobert and in memory of this late patron, the band still wear Ancient Hunting Robertson.
