Urbano Deep-dive - Shapefile import

Urbano software for infrastructure pipe network design has been in development for over 30 years.
The program includes a large set of functions to handle a multitude of tasks related to design, calculation, analysis, data import/export, customization and so on.

The Urbano deep-dive series takes one topic and explains it in detail.
In this presentation we will focus on Shapefile import into Urbano software, and the various editing, analysis and data export options that you can do with the data.

The presentation includes three parts:
1. Import of a sewage network, CAD design & data editing, and model export to SWMM
2. Import of a water network, error detection & hydraulic calculation, and model export to EPANET
3. Import of 4 pipe networks, clash detection & analysis, and model export to IFC
