Great Lakes Shipwrecks LIVE! - Mark Sprang

Mark Sprang has been the Archivist for the Historical Collections of the Great Lakes (HCGL) at Bowling Green State University since 2017 and is responsible for all aspects of processing, preservation, publicity, and reference. Founded in 1969, the HCGL is largest of the many archival collections relating Great Lakes maritime history in the region. Mark has previous maritime history experience from holding positions with the Naval History and Heritage Command and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Before coming to BGSU, he was an archivist at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History from 2015-2017. Mark obtained his Master of Science in Information (MSI) from the University of Michigan in 2014 and a B.A. in History from Saginaw Valley State University in 2006.
