Jake and Nicole are living off grid in the Canadian Wilderness. British Columbia is full of many climates and we live in a temperate rain forest. Our goal is to grow 100% of our own food and live Off The Grid providing our own food, electricity, shelter, and water. In this Off Grid episode Jake and Nicole fill their new raised bed garden with soil, compost, bark, and seaweed. Nicole also picks and makes dandelion honey which is also dandelion syrup. She added coconut sugar during the cooking process! Our Dogs Puma and Kai help us and as the summer temperatures rise the black flies and mosquitos swarm.
