Jamaican Immigrant: Why I Refuse to Fear Deportation

As a Jamaican immigrant in America, I refuse to live in fear of Trump’s immigration policies. I came to this country legally, I follow the law, and I refuse to let fear control my life. Many immigrants worry about deportation, but I choose to focus on living happily instead. If the U.S. ever decides to revoke my status, then so be it—I will not let fear dictate my future.
