ADVANTAGES OF FREEAIR VENTILATION

The freeAir ventilation system combines the advantages of centralised and decentralized systems. No supply air pipework is required and in most cases only one hole per apartment is required in the outside wall - ideal for new buildings and renovations.

Exhaust air rooms are connected directly to the freeAir 100 external wall ventilation unit. The intelligent freeAir plus units are used to ventilate internal rooms from the living room without any additional pipework. This considerably simplifies the design and installation. Well thought-out structural components make installation easier.

Highest energy efficiency and demand management
More than 90 percent of the heat can be recovered via the efficient counterflow heat exchanger. The automatic control via 8 sensors, including humidity, CO2 and temperature eliminates the need for any user intervention and contributes to high energy efficiency. The freeAir 100 ventilation unit is certified for passive houses, has top efficiency rating A+.

Service information and ventilation control directly via smartphone
With the browser-based freeAir Connect app, users always have an overview of air quality, energy savings and the filter status of their ventilation system. The desired comfort level can also be selected directly on the smartphone. Automatic service notifications by email offer landlords, hotel operators or facility managers the peace of mind that all devices are working properly.

Award winning technology
In 2018, the freeAir ventilation system was awarded the Component Award for cost-effective ventilation solutions by the Passive House Institute. Installation, maintenance and energy costs were included in the assessment, as were design aspects, architectural integration and its ease of use. In 2019, the freeAir system received the ICONIC AWARD: Innovative Architecture by the German Design Council.
