This particularly rainy day was an uncommon occurrence in San Diego (this video was shot in Jan 2021). To get ready, we put our camp rug in the bed of the Gladiator, move everything closer to the rig, and monitor the wind and rain level to see if we needed to bring the awning in (and yes, we did shortly after filming this as the rain came down harder). And then we stayed dry and made the most of our time inside!
