FRANKFURT ODER TRAM | Straßenbahn Frankfurt (Oder) [2018]

Krátké nahlédnutí do centra Frankfurtu nad Odrou a jeho víkendového tramvajového provozu. V současnosti se jedná snad o jediné město v Německu, kde se lze ve velkém setkat s vozy ČKD Tatra s původní výzbrojí. Vozy KT4DM zde tvoří asi dvě třetiny vozového parku, zbytek pak německé nízkopodlažní tramvaje AEG GT6M. I ty jsou však již 25 let staré a žádné další nové vozy od té doby do Frankfurtu nad Odrou dodány nebyly. Tramvajový provoz tak v tomto městě i díky úbytku obyvatel strádá, i přes dobrý stav tratí či dobře řešené návaznosti v přestupních uzlech.

A brief look into the center of Frankfurt am Oder and its weekend tram service. At present, this is perhaps the only city in Germany where ČKD Tatra cars with original equipment can be met. KT4DM trams make up about two-thirds of the fleet, the rest consist of the German low-floor trams AEG GT6M. However, even these cars are already 25 years old and no new trams have been delivered to Frankfurt am Oder ever since. Tram traffic in this city is quite suffering also due to the decline in population, despite the good condition of the tracks or well-designed connections in the interchange points.
