Green Basilisk Lizard Feeding

This is a quick video of my two green Basilisk lizards/Jesus Christ Lizards. I feed them a staple diet of large crickets but I give them dubia roaches and super worms to mix it up. I have one large male and a smaller female. They are both pretty skittish which is typical of basilisks. The Female is especially skittish and rarely comes out of hiding. The male is a bit more friendly and will sit out on the branches and bask during the day. I have had the female for 4 years and the male for 2 years. I built the enclosure out of wood and screen and it has a sliding door in the front that gives access to the top and bottom of the cage. They have a small water basin in the water with a fountain to prevent it from going stagnant. The basilisks enjoy swimming and spend lots of time in the water. I also have a mist king misting system set up to mist the cage throughout the day.
