Nonprofit helps childhood cancer survivors bond on trips around the U.S.

The American Childhood Cancer Organization reports that one in every 285 children in the U.S. will receive a cancer diagnosis before reaching the age of 20. The nonprofit Sunshine Kids Organization hosts annual trips to help connect childhood cancer survivors across the nation. NBC News’ Jay Valle reports with the group on their ski trip to the Colorado slopes.
