Hoy caminamos por el barrio de San Nicolás en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.

El teatro Colón es un teatro de ópera de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Por su tamaño, acústica​ y trayectoria, ha llegado a ser considerado como el mejor teatro lírico del mundo.​ Según una encuesta realizada por el experto en acústica Leo Beranek a destacados directores internacionales de ópera y de orquesta, el Teatro Colón posee la sala con la mejor acústica para ópera y la segunda mejor para conciertos del mundo.

Comparable con las salas líricas más importantes del mundo, como la Scala de Milán, el Metropolitan Opera House de Nueva York, la Ópera Estatal de Viena, la Royal Opera House (Covent Garden) de Londres y la Ópera de París, es índice inequívoco de consagración para quienes se presentan en él y lugar ineludible para los amantes de la música. El Colón ha sido desde siempre un teatro venerado por el público y por los artistas más renombrados.​ A su vez, es sede de la Orquesta Estable, el Coro Estable, el Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón y de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires. También funcionan en su sede el Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón, el Instituto Superior de Arte, con su Orquesta Académica, el Coro de Niños y el programa Colón Contemporáneo.

Es un teatro de temporada o de stagione que renueva su programación anualmente, no un teatro de repertorio. Asimismo es un teatro de producción propia, que cuenta con talleres especializados para realizar todos los elementos necesarios para la escenificación de un espectáculo de ópera o ballet.

Tribunales es la denominación informal para referirse a una zona dentro del barrio de San Nicolás en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Este barrio "no oficial" está ubicado en las inmediaciones de la Plaza Lavalle la cual es un espacio verde de tres manzanas de la ciudad. la plaza (y la zona) está rodeada por las calles Libertad, Lavalle, Talcahuano y Avenida Córdoba.

El nombre proviene del hecho de que en la zona se encuentra la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación Argentina.
