Downtown Seattle is a wonderful collection of food, attractions, and activities. Though the mental image many people have of Seattle is rain and clouds, if you’re lucky enough to visit during Seattle Summer you can expect near perfect weather - not a cloud in sight.

This route starts in historic Pioneer Square, follows the hill down to the waterfront area, continues on through the shops and stores of Pike Place Market, on to the downtown core shopping district, finally ending at the Space Needle. The route is approximately 2.5 miles and features moderate hills and stairs. With no stops it will take about 45 minutes to walk, but with stopping at attractions and to eat you should plan for at least 4 hours on this route.
