With American Express cards... either ya love them or ya hate them, at least it seems that way online. I would argue that most creators argue that Amex cards aren't for everyone, and I agree with this argument. However, I think many of the great positives of being an Amex customer get glossed over when being compared to the negative aspects.

Today I explain why I am a big fan of the American Express ecosystem, why I pay nearly $3,000/yr in annual fees, and why I will remain a customer with them. A lot of my points are circumstantial. I am able to put a large chunk of personal and business expenses on these cards, I can take advantage of their lounge network, and I have a flexible schedule which allows me to get some awesome redemptions. Most people won't fall into these camps, meaning they might not be able to fully maximize the offerings from the various Amex products.
