Learn all the painful lessons from your past relationships that were hurtful. Literally make a list. Then one by one, make certain you are learning the lessons with each painful “mistake.”

As you apply yourself, like with anything, you begin to feel more confidence and self trust.

Also, get feedback from trusted friends on how they think you show up and what your blind spots are. Tell them to be direct with you and not hold back. Then, use their feedback to continue to learn more about yourself.

Take classes, and hire coaches to help you address your weak areas.

All of this “action” will change this for you. Not thinking about action, but taking action and healing and fixing the weak spots.

One weak area is communication. I’m guessing you didn’t do great here. So, this is yet another area to fix and change. Start learning how to communicate like a master and these situations won’t happen again.
