The story of our Community Garden on the edge of the Chilterns
As you will see and hear in this video, this Community garden is a wonderful, living example of what can be done with a dedicated team of hard working and passionate volunteers. Lockdown brought so many lows, but this garden bucked the trend, and enabled people to come together and make something worthwhile and long lasting.
It has been financially underpinned by SCCF (the Sarratt and Chipperfield Community Foundation), to whom we are incredibly grateful, as well as having raised funds in other ways, and the aim is to be financially independent by January 2022, due to sales of the produce raised in the garden- no mean feat as it is not very big!
If you would like any information on setting up a Community Garden, please do get in touch - we'd be so delighted to help if at all possible.
