743G15 Ipso Cast: Plaster casting a below-knee residual limb – Tutorial │ Ottobock
For more information about the Ipso Cast, please visit: https://pe.ottobock.com/en/743G15.html
The plaster casting technique with the Ipso Cast makes plaster casting for a below-knee socket faster and more efficient. After the plaster is applied to the residual limb, the user steps into a casting tube that simulates the pressure conditions which also act on the residual limb in the subsequent prosthetic socket. The technician can also intervene to apply additional pressure from the outside and model specific areas.
