Amazing Early Years Outdoor Area Ideas
This video takes a look at some amazing outdoor area ideas at St Peter's C of E Primary School in Ashton-Under-Lyne in the UK.
I take a tour round the outside, and describe the numerous learning opportunities. There are so many brilliant EYFS ideas that address learning across the whole curriculum.
There are some amazing ideas, including:
-An outdoor stage area, with potential for a backdrop
-The music area made from a pallett and assorted objects
-A potion area, and an ice exploration area linked also to potion-making
-Exciting mark-making and literacy areas, including a literacy shed for independent largescale mark-making
-A brilliant maths area with a wealth of learning opportunities
-Water play rich in opportunities to problem solve and explore
-Digging and nature areas
-Largescale den making
--A fantastic castle that the children designed themselves, and that is great for climbing, building dens and role-play.
If you are interested in me coming to your school or nursery and showing off your spectacular ideas, then please feel free to email me at info@earlyimpact.co.uk
