I really enjoyed the Sinking Eternity demo for what it showed. The underwater atmosphere is genuinely beautiful, and exploration feels very relaxing in a way that makes you want to keep diving deeper. Scanning and discovering different creatures and flora was one of the most enjoyable parts for me, especially with the completionist-style loop of trying to find everything. The massive underwater structures also stood out a lot, giving the game a strong sense of scale and that unsettling cosmic horror feeling.

That said, the demo is still very limited and mostly serves as an early look at what the full game is aiming for. Base building and crafting are fun, but still quite minimal at this stage, and survival mechanics outside of oxygen don’t really play a big role yet. According to the planned Early Access content, there’s a lot more coming: including deeper biomes, expanded base building, and more mystery around the world and the cryosleep storyline. Even in its current state, the foundation feels really promising, and I’m curious to see how it evolves.
