Medusa's Slidewheel: Crazy ROTATING Water Slide at Mt. Olympus | 1st in USA

💦 North America's First Spinning Water Slide 💦

Take a ride on the Medusa's Slidewheel water slide at Mt. Olympus Water Park in Wisconsin Dells WI, USA. Medusa's Slidewheel is North America's first installation of the rotating SlideWheel which was invented by Wiegand Waterrides (formerly known as wiegand.maelzer). Riders embark upon this attraction in four-person rafts. As soon as the slide is in the correct position, a conveyor belt is pushing the round-raft into the ride. During the ride, the riders tilt from one side to another multiple times before they exit the wheel on the oppsite side after about 90 seconds. Afterwards, an ordinary dark tube slide is leading into the runout pool. Due to the rotation, the experience is completely different from any other water slide in the world and the video does not really do justice.

Dies ist die Medusa's Slidewheel Wasserrutsche im Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, USA. Es handelt sich hierbei um die erste Installation des von wiegand.waterrides erfundenen SlideWheels in Nordamerika. Die Rutsche wird in Rundbooten für bis zu vier Personen berutscht. Die Rutsche dreht sich durchgängig und sobald die richtige Position erreicht ist, wird das Boot in die Rutsche geschoben. Während des Rutschens schwingt man mehrmals hin und her, bevor man nach rund 90 Sekunden das Rad auf der exakt gegenüberliegenden Seite wieder verlässt. Anschließend geht es durch eine gewöhnliche, dunkle Röhre mit bunten in Richtung Auslaufbecken. Aufgrund der Drehbewegung der Rutsche ist das Rutschgefühl nicht mit anderen Rutschen vergleichbar und ist auf dem Video daher schwer richtig herüberzubringen.
