Framing Process
Framing step is very important and should be seriously taken to implement the chosen design. Frame construction will affect the whole finish product appearance. Precision to the measurements, neat welding, bending, and leveling, should be put as the main important concepts in framing.
The workflow of framing process including:
• Choosing the correct steel/aluminum tube type, form and size
• Cutting the tube
• Bend the tube (if the design contains any curves)
• Construct the pieces of the cut tubes, this is including welding and grinding the welded corners.
• Finishing, this includes leveling and painting/coating, to make sure that the construction has the same level to avoid shaky issues.
The steel is considerably stronger than aluminum and is therefore very difficult to bend or dent. The down side of steel frame is that the water can cause some corrosion and this can lead to a rusty water stain being visible through the rattan weave. To avoid the threat of rust we use a powder coating to protect the steel frame.
The aluminum does not have the issue of rust to contend with as aluminum does not rust. The aluminum is however not as robust as the steel when it comes to being damaged but if it were to have a large impact such as a heavy item being dropped on it, it could well get dented.
So TDANG offers you 2 options: Powder-coated Steel frame for extra durability/ Aluminium frame for lighter products.
Weaving Process
The next step is to weave these frame, at our factory we employ over hundreds skillful weavers from Dong Nai, where is now becoming the biggest weaving factory to serve the world.
These synthetic rattan is made of fully-dyed high quality synthetic high density polyethylene. It is UV-treated. Its main characteristics are: UV Proof, Weather Proof, 100% Recyclable, Fully-Dyed.
The whole weaving process is done by hand. The time it took to weave a furniture set is around 2-3 days, the weaver most maintain concentration and accuracy to enable a strong products.
The last stages and finishing touches are QC checks before one final clean before packing, then it is ready to leave to stores around the world.
