Patricia (Empress Schuck) falls deeply for Vince (Aljur Abrenica), a coconut juice vendor. Together, they fight through poverty and eventually achieve greater success. Their good fortune, unfortunately, comes at an expense as Patricia suffers from a life-threatening disease. With Patricia’s days now numbered, Vince resolves to prove his undying love for her through a wedding. However, Patricia’s cynic loved ones question Vince’s motive behind the marriage. Wanting to prevent the young widower from inheriting what they believe is Patricia’s hard-earned wealth, the Cruzes take the matter to court.
