Monday Morning Quarterback for Sunday, April 19

The beauty of God is seen in his love for his creation. He creates us in Beauty and even though sin and corruption distort that beauty God still loves us. He loves us enough to send his son Jesus who taught us how to live in the Beauty of Love, demonstrated how to love even to death on a cross, and proved by his resurrection that the Beautiful Love of God was too strong for even sin and death to overcome it. God takes that which is distorted, damaged, and hurting and transforms it into something beautiful through His Love. When we begin to put our trust in Jesus life, death, and resurrection and follow him in our living, God changes our life into something beautiful through his love. Just as he changed the image of the cross from death and torture to beauty and new life in Jesus.
