Two Women | Two old vans | Alhambra Palace | Van life | Off Grid

This week we head further into the mountains to visit Mojacar to learn about the Indalo which is an ancient symbol that protects property and people from danger. After so many questions about how we cope off grid for so long I show the Bluetti AC200P power bank and solar set up which to be honest we just couldn't have coped without. We head further into the mountains to meet up with a good friend of mine who bought a place out there and has spent the last 30 years turning it into a beautiful home. After doing all our Van engine checks, we then head to the outskirts of Granada, jump on a rickety toy train to explore cave houses in the town of Gaudix before finding a secure campsite in Granada to allow us to leave our vans for a few hours safely to explore Alhambra Palace.

Winters in the UK can be miserable especially when living on a boat and with all the canal lock closures for maintenance, I began to feel a little trapped. So for the next 2 months I decided to join up with another fellow solo female traveller and set off across Europe in our two very old camper vans in search of sunshine and to experience Van life at it's best.
I hope you enjoy something a little different as I swap boat life for van life.
