Over the Hills and Far Away - Nightwish/Gary Moore - Piano Cover/Arrangement

Last night I saw Nightwish [and Kamelot] at the Newport Hall in Columbus, and I felt so inspired by how incredible the show was that I felt like recording this... I picked this song because I could simultaneously pay tribute to Nightwish and one of my favorite guitarists of all time, the brilliant Gary Moore (RIP). I tried to make this arrangement reflect the version that Nightwish played last night - they played it in A instead of E, and opened with a bit of jamming which I also did here. But somehow I managed to turn a 6 minute song into almost 9 minutes... classic me!

About me: I'm a 19 year old guy (17 when this was recorded) who plays piano, guitar, drums, bass, tenor sax, french horn, and mandolin. I've been studying piano for 12 years, and I've been playing the others, self taught, for a few years. I mainly play metal (especially melodic and progressive stuff, but I'm into everything), jazz (modal jazz and fusion in particular), classical, classic rock, pop, and lots of other stuff. And listening wise, I'm all over the map... I honestly listen to and can appreciate everything out there.
