This track is an experiment in the Star Wars universe and its composer, John Williams. The goal for this piece was to play with a new kind of Star Wars sound and research different ways of merging genres and styles. In place of traditional orchestral elements like strings, I used synthesizers designed to sound like strings. But I also wanted to ground it in a world where the "star wars" was a real thing, so using a singular real violin - which may represent how these wars have affected real individuals - was important to me.

There's also a bit of an indie music feel in the way the chords play on the piano. Plus, adding in white noise risers to separate each section is a callback to electronic music - it gives us energy to keep pursuing that "end goal" in this world.

The original composition ("Trooper") has no official connection with Disney, LucasFilm Ltd., or composer John Williams. Themes you might have heard from The Phantom Menace's Duel of Fates and the Imperial March original Star Wars films have been used and altered for experimentation and research.
