This 4-hour long video presents to you the whole playthrough of the popular game entitled "Amnesia: The Dark Descent". "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" is a 2010 survival horror-adventure game developed and published by Frictional Games. It was first released on 8 September 2010 for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The story of this game follows Daniel, a man who wakes up in the desolate Brennenburg Castle (situated in the forests of eastern Prussia), in 1839, with no memory, having deliberately erased his own mind (by consuming a potion), to forget his past traumas, including his participation in gruesome experiments and killing innocent people. The story is told through flashbacks and diary entries discovered by the player, detailing Daniel's past in Algeria, his finding of a mysterious "Orb," and his subsequent descent into madness. Hunted by a supernatural "Shadow" and monsters, Daniel must navigate into the darkness of the castle, solve puzzles, and regain his memories to stop the sadistic Baron Alexander from opening a portal to another world. Alexander is the main antagonist of this game. He is a manipulative, otherworldly entity disguised as a 16th-19th century Prussian noble, aiming to use kidnapped humans and torture to create a portal back to his home dimension, using the protagonist, Daniel, to achieve this goal. He tricks Daniel into traveling to Brennenburg Castle, using him to torture and extract "Vite" (a substance linked to cosmic power) from victims to power an ancient orb that opens up a portal to his true home world. The Shadow is a supernatural, fleshy entity that pursues Daniel through the castle, manifesting in dark areas. The entity is a force defending the cosmic secrets Alexander is trying to access.
