Acoustic Guitar Intonation (without touching the saddle)

If the notes are reading SHARP after the 12th fret, try this little trick I've learned over the years on how to intonate your acoustic guitar by extending the nut. Materials used can be found below. Thanks for watching!

UPDATE 6/7/2019: It was in fact too much travel for the string so more filing was needed but ended up working like a charm for this particular project. Good luck everyone!
