PART 2 HOW TO USE COLLECTION FILTER IN SALESFORCE FLOW || SALESFORCE @SalesforceAIChampions
In this Salesforce Flow tutorial, we’ll walk through a practical and commonly used scenario to help you understand how to leverage the Collection Filter element effectively.
Here’s the use case we’re solving:
First, we will use the Get Records element to retrieve Accounts whose Annual Revenue is more than 200K. This helps us build a collection of accounts that meet our initial financial criteria. But we don’t stop there! From this collection, we only want to work further with accounts that have a specific Account Rating of ‘Warm’.
To achieve this second level of filtering without writing any code, we’ll use the Collection Filter element in Flow Builder. This element allows us to fine-tune our records and extract only the most relevant subset for the next steps of the automation - whether that’s updating records, sending notifications, or any other business logic.
This tutorial is designed for Salesforce Admins and Flow Builders who want to make their flows smarter and more precise by understanding how to work with complex datasets inside Flow.
By the end of this video, you’ll clearly understand:
✅ How to retrieve records with specific conditions
✅ How to apply a second filter using Collection Filter
✅ Real-world tips to avoid common mistakes
