Professor John Collomosse made this 45 minute technical overview of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) covering:
1) common types of DLT and consensus model,
2) smart contracts and Solidity with a simple example of coding a contract and deploying it to Ethereum DLT,
3) use cases of DLT beyond crypto-currency, such as digital presevation and data trusts
4) thoughts on common patterns and anti-patterns for DLT.
