Transformers Prime's Arcee is easily the best iteration of the character. There is a rawness about her - steely loyalty, fused with pain. She shoves people away so that she doesn't have to face the wounds that prevent her from being whole. Her incredibly well-constructed arc sees her battle her demons and rise above those who have abused her past, to become stronger.
