10' x 30' Custom Carolina Coop in Delray Beach, Florida

A large, 10' x 30' custom Carolina Coop is installed on the water in Delray Beach, Florida. The chicken coop has a 6' x 10' henhouse, board & batten siding, a functional cupola, rain barrel & gutters attached to our custom waterbar. The client put a concrete footer down before the coop was built, and Matt and his crew made a sill plate for under the coop.
This client already had chickens and is having a house built on the property but wanted the coop up there first. Matt and the customer show ways of introducing younger pullets to an existing flock in this video.
This coop is good for about 30 chickens with free ranging. It also has a 5-gang egg hutch on each side of the henhouse and our signature deep litter beds, so no cleaning is necessary for at least a year or longer.
The coop also has two chicken run doors by chicken guardian.
