PROJECT STEPS

1. You work as a volunteer at the Norfolk Public Library. Your manager, Tai Man Chan, has asked you to finalize a presentation that will be used at an upcoming seminar, which outlines the services available at the library.
Begin by changing the theme color to Marquee.
2. On Slide 2 ("Locations"), change the slide background to a gradient fill. Change the color to Aqua, Accent 1, Lighter 80% (2nd row, 5th column).
3. Still on Slide 2 ("Locations"), edit the hyperlink applied to the word "branches" so that it opens the file Support_NP_PPT365_EOM4-1_Branches.docx. Add the ScreenTip Click to view the address and hours of each branch to the hyperlink.
4. On Slide 3 ("Services"), edit the Action button so that it hyperlinks to the next slide and plays the Chime sound when clicked. Change the color of the Action button to Aqua, Accent 1, Lighter 80% (2nd row, 5th column).
5. On Slide 4 ("Resources"), show the animation pane. Animate the slide title with the Fly In entrance animation. Animate the picture to the right with the Shape entrance animation. Add a trigger to the picture so that the animation occurs when Title 1 is clicked.
6. On Slide 6 ("Kids Programs and Events"), display the guides. Using the Smart Guides, move the star shape on the left so that it is even with the 0 on the horizontal ruler. Move the star shape on the top so that it is even with the 0 on the horizontal ruler. Compare your screen to Figure 1. Remove the guides from Slide 6.

7. Set up the Slide Show settings so that the presentation is browsed at a kiosk and hide Slide 5 of the presentation.
In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
