Cómo viajar en el tiempo, la propuesta consiste en recorrer el tradicional barrio de Caballito a bordo de un verdadero tranvía.

Durante 100 años, el tranvía fue un medio de transporte urbano en Buenos Aires, pero en 1963 desapareció abruptamente. En los años ´80 resurgió de la mano de la Asociación Amigos del Tranvía para ofrecer paseos en un circuito de 25 minutos por el barrio de Caballito. ⠀

Realizar el recorrido en estos antiguos tranvías es una experiencia en sí misma para toda la familia. Cada detalle está pensado: las antiguas carrocerías, la entrega del boleto al subir, la vestimenta del chofer, todo transporta a otra época.

How to travel back in time, the proposal consists of touring the traditional Caballito neighborhood aboard a real tram.

For 100 years, the tram was a means of urban transport in Buenos Aires, but in 1963 it abruptly disappeared. In the 1980s it resurfaced from the hand of the Friends of the Tram Association to offer rides in a 25-minute circuit through the Caballito neighborhood. ⠀

Taking the tour in these old trams is an experience in itself for the whole family. Every detail has been thought through: the old bodies, the delivery of the ticket upon boarding, the driver's clothing, everything transports you to another era.

The service is free.

SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND AFTERNOON HOLIDAYS:

MARCH TO MAY (“Autumn”) 4pm to 7pm
JUNE to AUGUST (“Winter”) 3pm to 6pm
SEPTEMBER TO NOVEMBER (“Spring”) 4pm to 7pm

SUNDAY MORNING:
ALL YEAR ROUND 10am to 1pm and from 17 to 20 hours.

NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED
Just standing in line at the bus stop is on a first come, first serve basis.
