In just a minute, you can easily search and reorder media in the media pool of Davinci Resolve. First, let's get started by adding some media to your timeline. After that, simply click on the media pool to open up the user-friendly panel. To make navigation even smoother, click on the expand or shrink button located right next to the media pool. This way, you can easily adjust the size of the panel to suit your preference.

One great feature you can utilize is the viewer options. By clicking on the designated button, you can pull up a detailed list of all the media available. Alternatively, you can choose the thumbnail option and customize the size of each thumbnail. If you prefer a more comprehensive display, you can select the third option, which reveals both the thumbnail and details. To quickly find specific media, take advantage of the search button and utilize various fields to narrow down your search.

Sorting your media is a breeze as well. Simply click on the next button to sort your media based on parameters such as name, frame rate, and other options. You have the flexibility to arrange them in ascending or descending order as per your requirements. To further refine the organization of your media, you can access the metadata panel by selecting a specific media and clicking on the designated icon. From there, you can assign shot and scene information to your media, and even add flags to selected media by scrolling down.

To save time when organizing multiple media files, you can select multiple items, assign a flag, and then click on the save button. This way, you can easily sort your media based on the applied flags. If you wish to incorporate your selected media into your timeline, simply drag them into the timeline to create a timeline from the selected media. It's important to note that you can employ the same search and reorder options on the media page for added convenience.

Furthermore, the media pool also allows you to efficiently organize your media by utilizing folders. By right-clicking on the left side of the panel, you can create a new bin, name it accordingly, and smoothly drag your media into it. This way, you can effortlessly keep your media well-organized and easily accessible.
