Mad Max - Winlator 10 vs Winlator 7.1.4 Cmod Rev12 Alpha5 vs Gamefusion 2.0.6 on AYN ODIN 2 MINI PRO

This is game play of Mad Max (2016) using Winlator 10, Winlator 7.1.4 Cmod Rev12 Alpha5, and Gamehub | Gamefusion 2.0.6 on an AYN Odin2 Mini Pro.

WINLATOR 10 (Beta)

This emulator gave great performance at 720p with a the newest Box64, DXVK and turnip Drivers but either the version of Wine or because this emulator is a beta the game crashed 4 times during my testing even through it was giving the highest FPS in game. I tried changes many of the Box64 presets but nothing worked for me.

WINLATOR 7.1.4 CMOD Rev 12 Alpha 5

This version gave mediocre performance maxing out at around 30~ FPS while playing and I had to turn the resolution down to 960x544 in order for the game to play in full screen mode. I opted to not force full screen because I find it introduces graphical issues. I used Wine 9.21, newest DXVK, Turnip Drivers and BOX64. Overall on this emulator I was able to play this game for about 20 mins until it crashed like the Winlator 10 (Beta). I tried turning on FastRound in the Box64 presets as per ZeroKimchi during his playtest video but it did not work for me.

This emulator game me the best performance right in between the other 2 above. The FPS stayed around ~60 and the game did not crash during my entire game play test. I was able to use the built in Proton compatibility layer which was the best one compared to all the Wine versions. I would recommend using this emulator to play Mad Max for now until Winlator 10 gets more feature complete.
