How does a family of 7 prepare Easter dinner when there's no store, and everything must be made by hand?

Deep in the Carpathian Mountains, Svitlana and Dmytro spend days preparing the ultimate Easter feast for their five children — using only a wood-fired oven, an outdoor smoker, and ingredients from their own land.

- Paska — traditional Easter bread baked in a wood-fired oven, topped with meringue glaze and hand-grated dark chocolate
- Smoked pork ribs & shoulder — dry-cured, hung on hand-forged steel hooks, and slow-smoked for 6+ hours in a wooden smokehouse
- Krashanky — eggs dyed deep red using nothing but onion skins collected since autumn (the original natural dye method!)
- Pysanky — hand-painted Easter eggs with ancient geometric patterns, each symbol a prayer for protection and harvest
- Mountain spring salad — fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and a huge bunch of green onions dressed with sunflower oil
- Boiled potatoes with fresh herbs from the garden
