Union Pacific 4014's California Excursions!

After a long 5 year restoration, Union Pacific debuted their newest addition to the fleet, Union Pacific Big Boy #4014! His first run was to Promontory, UT for the 150th Golden Spike Anniversary. A few months later, Union Pacific began their multi-month long journey dubbed "The Great Race Across the Southwest!". I picked up the chase on its first day into California where it spent 10 days running between Yermo and West Colton. As part of the agreement for re-acquiring UP 4014, Ed Dickens gave the Railgiants Museum members an excursion. Union Pacific gave an amazing ride and show for everyone who came out to see, and I look forward to seeing it again.
