Anti-flood water reservoir

The first of many floods at Praça da Bandeira happenned in march of 1906. It´s a region surrounded by mounts, from where all the water flow slide to the lowest point -- which is the surroundings of the Maracanã stadium. To solve this centenary problem that afflicts the area of Tijuca, five reservoirs are being built. Together, they will have the same capacity as 200 hundred olympic pools.
