Euler's Formula - Proof WITHOUT Taylor Series
In this video, we see a proof of Euler's Formula without the use of Taylor Series (which you learn about in first year uni). We also see Euler's famous identity, which relates five of the most important numbers in maths today. This identity also forms the basis of the logarithm of negative numbers.
Euler's Formula was once in the 4 unit syllabus, however is no longer in the course. An aspiring mathematics student should try and familiarize themselves with this formula, as it can help to give a deeper understanding of complex numbers, as well as giving you a head start for university. Enjoy!
