Brave Ukrainian troops defend against Russian attacks near Bakhmut

Ukrainian troops fought to hold off Russian advances near Bakhmut. Troops of the Lyut national guard fought a fierce gun battle with Russia and then advanced into their positions, with video showing the aftermath of the battle and the foxholes they managed to capture. More video showed a Ukrainian soldier defending his own position against a Russian attack, standing his ground alone and firing at the attackers. But the bravery of the Ukrainian defenders could not stop Russia entirely. Drone footage showed how Putin’s troops managed to capture a Ukrainian trench, using FPV drones to blow it up and grenades to flush out the defenders, as they advanced on Bakhmut’s outskirts. Ukraine did not let their defeat go unavenged, however, and hit back with their own FPV drones, destroying an anti-air system, a truck, a BMP fighting vehicle, and a Russian radar station.
